I have been listening to a lot of Brodequin lately; seeing as I have to practice a setlist of 13 songs. Also Contorted Mind - still not done, vicals done soon and then off to mixing. But the raw tracks are to my liking, even though it is my own music. Putrescet Seepage's 2016 demo, Waco Jesus and Defeated Sanity's "Disposal Of The Dead" are in heavy rotation as of lately, too. I have been meaning to check out Abnormal Inhumane; it has been lying on my desk for about three weeks now, but sadly I have not have had the time to listen to it yet... Damnit, still no Contorted Minds EP. For myself: -Brodequin -Suffocation -Origin And there are many others ofcourse. Coming soon, though...

Was playing this super sick album a while back. Any fans? Hell yes definitely a severely underrated band. Got the chance to see them in 2006 on Long Island with Sexcrement and Fecal Corpse. Brian Forgue of Syphilic fame was doing vocals for them by then. Really wish they would have put out that second album they were planning.

Reign Supreme had no effect on me whatsoever. Can't remember a single riff it just didn't stick. This seems alright but I'd need to hear more.

I prefer the old logo too so this is just awesome. I like how they can be technical but not get boring and still have the grooves.

I finally jammed that new DF track I posted. It was a very enjoyable listen, I'm glad I heard it, but I wasn't terribly impressed. Song structure seemed a little lacking, some of the verse riffs were lackluster and I didn't get any energy from it. The vocals were still great and the small technical flourishes are always enjoyable as ever.
I jammed this album last night. Pretty fun and really killer Indo stuff, definitely one of the better projects I've heard. Chunky and super riffy early 2000s BDM style stuff, got some early Cannibal Corpse and Severe Torture vibes out of it. Some cool midpaced riffs that aren't slams that keep things going, a nice rough growl on top of things, and some really nasty little shredding sections that add an almost frantic feel to the pacing of the songs in small moments; even solos, quite often, pretty rare for BDM.
This was also released last night. More slam than BDM really but a cool listen. Fucking GNARLY vocals.

New Condemned artwork released today along with a tracklisting on their facebook page. Album is coming out March 10th. Anyone else amped for this? Been a fan of these guys since the mass burial days and I'm curious to hear what the new members bring to the table. Plus, Sam Townsley is near the top of my list of underrated vocalists so I'm glad he's active

Stoked to hear the new DF material.

What do you guys think of this band. I stumbled upon them randomly. Its a one man band and seems pretty much unknown. But I feel like the stuff is really solid and has a lot of potential.
Let me know what you think.

way worse is ordering a copy, waiting for it and then the digipack arriving damaged. ordering a second one, same... And thaaaaaat's why I hate digipacks. Mine arrived in perfect state but I feel like I barely listen to it because I'm scared of breaking it. Digipaks are garbage, hate them.

Fucking trash, cant touch them without them getting damaged in some way. And dont quote me but I do believe they are cheaper to press then jewel CDs. So people being cheap .

I'm the one guy who prefers digipaks. I'm always having to buy replacement jewel cases but my digis are fine. I'm not careless with any of my CD's, mostly the jewel cases have to be replaced because of how they were shipped but none of my digis are damaged at all. I don't toss em around or anything.

Did anyone else get that email from P2 Omerta about the Encenethrakh demo?? They sent a message out to people who purchased the full length saying that some of the 2013 demos had been found. Went ahead and bought one, first time I ever paid money for a tape.

Does anyone know this band? Divericate. Their promo sounded promising. Does anyone know what's up with them? Here is some music to help memorize.

Still have my Gaia Deformed shirt I got from them off myspace! Sadly they split up quite a while ago I think. The vocalist Sam is now the vocalist for Condemned and their guitar player Paul was also in Condemned for a while. Glad to see someone still listening to this band though criminally underrated in my book would have loved and still would love to hear more from them! Also in the same vein is Parasitic. If you're unfamiliar with them here we go:
