I saw about this on the NSE Facebook page. I browsed the US Death and SMN forum a bit before forums started to die out. I like extreme metal, mostly death metal, brutal electronic stuff and anything weird and different. I make clipped laptop industrial and would like to try to incorporate death metal kind of like what Berzerker did. I don't remember a lot of death metal songs because they are so complex but that is why I listen to it. I like how it sounds completely new to me with every listen. Can't get enough of technical death metal. Not much of a slam fan because it's simpler and can be a bit boring although I do like simple metal if it is moreso industrial like Godflesh. I am trying to discover more Indonesian death metal bands. I just found out about Genesis Production not too long ago. They seem to be a new Indonesian label with good technical death metal and I think they have black and thrash bands. I would definitely be interested in purchasing their full length albums if you could distribute them to us in the US. I wondered why the NSE Bandcamp page hasn't been updated with releases. The avatar designer is cute, I haven't done anything like this since I was younger. That is all, hope I didn't bore you with my wall of text. Old SMN user huh? Welcome, I'm also an old SMN member. Nils from Gelsenkirchen, Germany (NRWDM).
I´m into Death Metal and Grindcore since around 27 years now, started with Trash like D.R.I., Sepultura, Slayer, Kreator, Sodom (from my hometown) and shit. Discovered Napalm Death – wich still are the greatest to me – age 12 (btw. I´m one of the admins in the FB Napalm Death Fans Group). But I´ve been searching for something heavyer and accidently bought Cannibal Corpse´s "Tomb of the Mutilated" wich is still the best album ever made.
I have a huge horizon in music, from Beastie Boys over Tschaikowski to Hendrix, but BDM and GC is the greatest to me.
I love Dying Fetus, Disgorge, Internal Bleeding… and I love to discover new shit. I´m totally happy that Carnal signed on that sick label here. Following this fellas from New Zealand for years now, they really deserve it!
In my younger years I´ve been a drummer, but not active today. Also I was a skateboarder and tried some paintings, but I´m more the Suisse Army Knife – guy: I can do everything, but nothing of it right.
What else? I´m freshly married, have a little baby daughter and an older son.
I love beer!

Hey everyone! I'm Ramin from Orange County, CA. I haven't kept up with the bdm scene for the past 6-7 years, but I'm back and extremely excited to catch up on everything I've missed.
I also run Haftvad Records. Whereas most labels tend to focus on a specific genre, I focus on themes of fantasy, history, and mythology, so my releases are relatively varied. No brutal death metal though (yet!)
Anyways, its a pleasure to "meet" everyone here. I've already discovered/rediscovered so much great stuff through this forum. This is a great place, and I'm happy to be here.

Well, even if the forum seems dead, let's introduce myself.
I'm french and I live in the south part of the country, near the Mediterranean sea. The local scene is pretty healthy in my town despite the closure of the bars and pubs in downtown where you can easily organise gigs. Most of the people here are playing punk/hardcore/thrash/crossover stuff, and I personnally play the guitar in a old-school thrash metal band that is still rehearsing, and the bass in a crust/stenchcore band that will release a demo very soon, as we have already done some shows in our town and also in the rest of France.
As a deathgrind/brutal death metal/goregrind lover I find it very difficult to find people to start "extreme" sounding projects with, so I keep practicing alone with drum tracks I create on Hydrogen (very good open source and free software that can sound very good when you use it properly). I only have one close friend that is a brutal death head, but he lives in Paris, which is like 7 hours by car from my town, but we are looking forward to start a project with the drummmer from his band during our next holidays.
I consider myself as a general music lover but my daily listening is mainly made of grindcore (stuff like Phobia, Archagathus, Death Toll 80k, Internal Rot, Excruciating Terror, Warsore...), goregrind (not the shitty modern-sounding-groovy-pig-squealing-porno crap, but stuff like Regurgitate, LDOH, Maggut, Hyperemesis, Dead Infection... ), and brutal death metal like old-school Devourment (their fist LP as to be one of my favorites records of all time), first Suffocation LP, Gorgasm, Internal Bleeding, Orchidectomy, old-school Disgorge Pustulated... And of course, the all-mighy Mortician. I also really dig into crust punk and powerviolence : in fact, anything that's fast and raw sounding pleases my ears.
