Early Obituary is fantastic, but Inked in Blood was mediocre at best. Kinda fun, but dull and lifeless. Early Sinister is basically flawless, but you should check out their new shit too. It's actually really good!
Also, this is one of my favorite newer death metal bands that isn't BDM or new wave OSDM type stuff. Kind of in the vein of Hate Eternal but not as noisy, just tons and tons of huge riffs and retardedly tight blasting. Like, serious Roddy, Kollias, Yeung type blasting and it's fantastic. Their first album is one of my most played albums ever and they have a new one coming out that I'm beyond stoked for. Check these dudes out, they're playing CDF too!

Chilean Infamovs debut album out deathly now... if you like Incantation "Primordial Domination" fierce effort, you surely love them.
INFAMOVS - Under the Seals of Death CD [MEMENTO-LIX] The debut full-length of Chile’s Infamovs, “Under the Seals of Death”. Hailing from the city of Coquimbo, the band was formed in late 2014 by drummer A.M (ex-Predator), guitar players S.D and C.H, and F.U on vocal duties. This line-up recorded the “Emanation of Impure Heresies” EP that was released through LMDT Records in October 2015. Later on, C.H left the band and was replaced by R.B (Swarm of Terror). With the addition of F.G (Swarm of Terror) on bass, the band recently recorded their debut full-length album, titled “Under the Seals of Death”. Drawing their lyrical and conceptual inspiration from the occult, ancient deities and indigenous culture and history, Infamovs pay homage to the deeds and knowledge of yesteryear through a brand of Death Metal that’s heinous, ruthless, sullen and primitive, influenced by acts such as Incantation, Dominus Xul, Dead Congregation, Imprecation, Immolation, Sadistic Intent, early Deicide and early Morbid Angel. However, it is the band’s thirsty ‘n’ miserable execution which sets “Under the Seals of Death” as a breed apart. Every gnarled, gangrenous riff and rhythm burls forward with an irrational sense of possession, as if the players’ very lives are depending on it. Through this foul, gooey haze, a slimy-yet-sinuous songwriting emerges, marrying ably contorted linearity to tangibly, disgustingly physical forward momentum. It sounds and smells and feels like DEATH, rotting deeper in a pool of its own forlorn fluid. From this, Infamovs emerge: South American madness has a new name. Dawn of the Black Dance Chaos-Madness

I definitely wasnt stoked to hear that CDF announcement but after hearing this song I agree with this. Pretty good band.

Deutsche death metal panzer Deserted Fear done the third full lenght right now... DESERTED FEAR are one of Germany’s finest death metal acts and after establishing themselves as killer live act and receiving nothing but praise for the previous riff massacres, “My Empire” (2012) and “Kingdom Of Worms” (2014), the trio is more than ready for the proverbial next step. The 2017 opus “Dead Shores Rising” marks the first album on the band’s new label home Century Media Records and perfectly combines Scandinavian melodies inspired by At The Gates, Edge Of Sanity plus the crushing glory of Bolt Thrower. Mixed and mastered by Dan Swanö (Witherscape / ex Bloodbath), “Dead Shores Rising” offers high-class song-writing, a powerful sound and should kick off an exciting new chapter in the band’s history. The Special Edition CD Digipak includes a patch with the cover art as well as two bonus tracks!

Will be buying my copy tomorrow. Very excited to own a piece of DM history like that. Also, Blackthorn from Mexico's full length, that holds the record for most expensive DM album sold on Discogs ($650+), has been reissued on Chaos Records. Will need that soon as well.

I bet there's others that have sold for more. Sororicide and Utumno always sold for ridiculous amounts in the past, among a bunch of others.

Yeah I know Sororicide went for like $1200 or something retarded. I just meant that's listed as sold on Discogs.
EDIT: That must've been an old stat I saw. Blackthorn sold for around $580, Sororicide for $666 hahaha. Utumno surprisingly wasn't that high but Gorement had sold for $450.

Neocaesar, a good Dutch death metal band. Neocaesar is a new Dutch death metal band formed by Mike van Mastrigt and Bart van Wallenberg. All 4 Neocaesar members are well-known from the early Sinister glory days. If you like albums as “Diabolical Summoning”, “Aggressive measures” and “Hate” you should look out for Neocaesar. Line up: Bart van Wallenberg – Guitar Eric de Windt – Drums Michel Alderliefsten – Bass Mike van Mastrigt – Vocals See a preview of some songs: soundcloud.com/user-918529536/sworn-to-hatesoundcloud.com/user-918529536/from-hellContact: neocaesar.bookings@gmail.com Merch: neocaesar.merchandise@gmail.com www.facebook.com/Neocaesar.official/?fref=ts

Anyone else familiar with Portal from Australia?

Portal is hellishly fantastic! Also, new Father Befouled incoming. They said it will be a "departure from the heavy-handed Incantation of the past", which makes me very happy, despite how much I enjoy their other material. This should be really killer.

^ the Desecresy one is fucking killer, can't wait for the new release!!! Always hyped for new Desecresy... Finnish ambient death metal band Desecresy let loose its single “Amidst” yesterday. This track comes to us from the fifth Desecresy album, The Mortal Horizon, which will be released in August through Xtreem Music, who released the four previous full-lengths from the band.
With this release, Desecresy becomes a one-man band. Tommi Grönqvist has always written all music and played all instruments but now he adds vocals to his repertoire with a deep, bassy growl reminiscent of Cianide and Cannibal Corpse. The new music promises to be inspired by doom-death and death metal such as Abhorrence, Bolt Thrower, Asphyx, Derketa, Grave, Incantation, Rippikoulu and Rottrevore.
Tracklist 01. Amidst 02. Horizon Blazing 03. Percussive Necromancy 04. Excavation 05. Concealed Depths 06. Atrophoid 07. Telekinetic Ignition 08. Perpetual Waves 09. Approaching Infinity
The advance track “Amidst” shows more variation in tempo and riff texture, but still the submersion into a kind of grooveless groove with abstract, distant percussion that makes this band sound so ominous. The Mortal Horizon will see release on August 14th through Xtreem Music on CD format. For those who enjoying churning and subterranean death metal, this promises to be a surprise.www.youtube.com/watch?v=a5gWvOQXChkA river of lava is coming..

I stumbled across that Firespawn album was pleasantly surprised.
Saw that this was being reissued and thought it was worth checking out. Wow, I can't believe I hadn't listened to it before. I'd played through "Extermination of Millions" some before but it never really stuck with me but this is crushing and it's a new favorite of mine.
