In honor of this legendary act touring the US this month, let's have a poll!
To me, it's a toss-up between Close To A World Below and Here In After. I'd say Close To A World Below is my pick because of Alex Hernandex's drumming.

Excellent topic. Here In After for me for an affective reason. In 1996 death metal was in decline and only few bands like them or Cannibal Corpse raise high the banner in quality terms.

Close To A World Below, followed by Here In After, then Failures For Gods...but I could almost take those three in any order. After the triumvirate, I think my favorite release might be Providence.

Close, followed by Failures, but pretty much a flawless discography, besides Kingdom, which felt tired and plastic. New one is sounding good so far though.

Here in After. But the 3 that followed it are all right up there for me. Failures, Closer, & Unholy are down right excellent.

I actually liked Kingdom Of Conspiracy a lot. Harnessing Ruin to me is their weakest effort. But then again, their worst is better than a lot of band's best.

At Mourning's Twilight was the first Immo song I ever heard and I still think it's a classic. Gotta disgree on Harnessing Ruin for sure. I didn't think Kingdom even sounded like Immolation.

I've heard:
Dawn of Possession Here in After Failures for Gods Close to a World Below Kingdom of Conspiracy Majesty and Decay
Out of these, Dawn tops them all and I like the last two more than the others I've heard. CTAWB hasn't clicked with me yet like it does with literally anyone else who likes Immolation.
