Bringing back the memories of the Devourment Forum, we need this thread back as well... new members, introduce yourself here  I begin: I am Timo from Germany. Longtime active member of Devourment Forum back in the days. Addicted to brutal death since about 10 years or so. listening to nearly every kind of music, but my main music is brutal death. besides i like to listen to black metal, hip hop, rock, alternative and some other forms of metal here and there, pop music. My favorite Bands are, to name a few: Devourment Guttural Secrete Defeated Sanity Suffocation Deftones Limp Bizkit Volbeat Kollegah (german rap ^^) Dying Fetus Slipknot Machine Head Abysmal Torment Dyscrasia (only some fast examples, its way more) nice to meet you all! |

I am that stupid guy from a very undeveloped shitty country of which I always whined about since 2005 in the Devourment forum.
If anyone remembers me, then it would be probably from the ridiculous amount of CDs I bought almost every week,
and hopefully due to the sewer maggot I drew for the band when they announced "Butcher the Weak".
My maggot is on Devourment's second official DVD (first press).
And I have been a fan of BDM since 1997 although I do enjoy a wide spectrum of music.

Recently started getting into BDM and Slam and I'm a regular over at the Ultimate Metal boards. Over there, it's a trad and doom metal circle jerk and no one likes BDM or slam except for five people (including morguelord). Morguelord is turning me onto the sickest BDM around and I'm slowly buying up NSE releases for my collection.
How about that new Abnormality, eh?

Brandon from NY. i play guitar for the band heisenberg. i was more of a lurking on the Devo forum. I really like all flavors of metal. i have a massive music collection primarily death and brutal death metal but also alt metal, black, power, punk ska and some hiphop/horrorcore stuff. i also love pullover hoodies and currently working on a tattoo collection. that about sums up my life.

Morguelord, one of the admins here. Aka Jesse from IL, the Chicago Domination Fest guy. Honored to be a part of getting this board started! I love all death metal, old and new, but that's about it. All other kinds of metal can suck my hairy butthole. I have been collecting shirts and CDs for about 2.5 years. I'm at around 220 shirts and 515 CDs now. Can't wait to have lots of good discussions here!

I'm T.J. from Texas. I play drums in the band Putrid Womb. I was not a member of the Devourment forum back in the day, but I was a pretty active member of DeathMetal.US. I love all sorts of music but Brutal Death and Slam are my favorites. Cheers! \m/

Marc, 30 yo, from fucking France. Same here, active member of Devourment and Deathmetal.us forums back in the days. Glad to see this new one taking the (vacant) throne. Singer of the french Brutal Death Metal band Darkall Slaves, and also working on a side-project called Shockwave Extinction, with Hannes from Indecent Excision. Also DM/BDM collector for 15+ years, got 2000+ CDs (80% of DM/BDM I would say), around 250 shirts, etc. FX artist on Animation movie during daytime. My fav bands are Guttural Secrete, Goratory, Disgorge US, Gorgasm, Defeated Sanity, Origin (James Lee/til Antithesis), Unmerciful, etc. Once again, glad to see this new forum dedicated to the music we love, missed the old ones and fed up of Facebook  |

Just gonna enjoy using the name Judas for now. I'm from the east coast. Been a fan of death metal, honestly, for maybe not even 5 years but it definitely changed my life when I first heard it. That's a story for another time though, maybe. Musically I am open to trying anything out which has caused me to be spread thin and not as deep into thrash or various forms of death as I'd like to be. Some of my favorite death bands are; Death, Bolt Thrower, Gorguts
Bands that I've really been enjoying the hell out of in the past year or so have been Inherit Disease, Defeated Sanity, and lately I've really been checking out the Japanese death bands which I'm really digging on.

Greeting from Japan, I am Stefan, love death metal/BDM, some grind/gore/noise, thrash, for years.
Play in some local bands. Cant wait to meet Ecchymosis in few months.
Became total fan of NSE about a year ago. Never thought could be a fan of label (of course including its full roster).

my name is peter and i'm from belgium... the devourment-forum was my daily appointment with brutal deathmetal fans worldwide for quite a few years, so i'm glad this new forum is up. already saw some familiar names poppin' up so i imagine this is going to be a pretty cool forum to visit.
turning 45 this year, i've been a fan of the more extreme music for almost 30 years or so, in a lot of different genres... death metal (obviously), thrash, black, doom, sludge, hardcore, grind, noise, etc...
cd/shirt collector for most of that time...
i play guitar (or atleast try to) in a band called E.B.D.B., which some of you may have heared about and for the other people something to check out...

Greetings from Middle Of Bumfuck Nowhere, Illinois. I don't play any instruments and I do really, really bad vocals. Have not found a band to participate in as of yet, though not for lack of trying. Looking forward to what's to come on this forum. I always needs more sources for extreme music.
Huge fan of brutal-death, grind, war metal, hardcore, powerviolence, folk metal, deathcore garbage, and showtunes.
I'm probably the only theater fuckface out there who's into brutal-death.
