Favorite album from death metal's biggest band? Only included studio albums and EPs, no demos, DVDs, live albums, bootlegs, etc. If your answer is "hurr durr none of them trolololol" don't both answering. Personally I have to go with Bloodthirst. My all time favorite album in any music genre, hands down. Mid-era Corpse is unfuckwithable in general.

I went with Eaten because to me this is the heaviest because of all the damn mosh riffs. A lot of people wont claim it because its "thrashy" but maybe thats why I like it.
I agree bloodthirst is very good. Cannibal corpse is one of my favorite bands and I love everythint up to Torture. Torture has a few good tracks and I dont know what happened in A skeley domain...
I am intrigued to hear the new Cannibal Corpse.
Edit- I will probably be the only one to like Eaten. Why nobody likes grooves is beyond me.

Butchered At Birth because it is the very album that got me hooked into death metal at a relatively young age.

Butchered, Tomb, and The Bleeding are all high up there for me. Butchered is probably the heaviest of the bunch, as well as my first CC album, but I went with Tomb due to it having the better songs.

Bloodthirst. The Barnes stuff obviously sounds more evil and deranged, and the Corpsegrinder era tends to produce albums that need to be cut by like a third, but Bloodthirst is a perfect combination of creepy, catchy, and unrelenting. I love how diseased some of the riffing sounds.

Tomb of the Mutilated. So many classic tracks on that album and before Jack Owen started to suck.

I think Bloodthirst has the largest amount of bad ass riffs, also their best work. Butchered is most nostalgic for me, also their most brutal.

Tough one! I'll go with Tomb but Bloodthirst and Bleeding are close.

The Bleeding is my favorite by a long shot. I love Chris's vocals in it and the songs are very memorable and catchy while still being heavy as fuck. I don't listen to CC as much as I used to but when I do it's usually The Bleeding.

Gore Obsessed & Bloodthirst! I enjoy all CC releases (except for A Skeletal Domain), but I think most people either talk about the old stuff with barnes, or the "later" Stuff with George, refering to Kill and the following albums. From my experience, the mid-era of CC is kinda overlooked. Which is a shame, I can't even discribe why, but these two records are just brilliant.

They hit the right balance of Pat & Alex tech stuff, brutals, and old school simplicity/catchiness in the mid-period, even if there are some filler tracks here and there. Maybe just nostalgia reasons for me but Wretched Spawn is probably my favorite. The Bleeding, Vile, Bloodthirst, Kill and Gore Obsessed are the runners up.

The band that I loved so much in the brutal world (yes, I'm refer to them as a brutal death metal warmachine), seeing them live numerous times but ending interest in Alex & Co. from "Kill" cause a more technical and sterile direction IMHO.
I love both Barnes and Corpsegrinder eras, Tomb my favourite from the first and Bloodthirst from the other. A near perfection discography.

none. i have to say that - even though its blasphemy for some - i never really cared for cc and never was amazed by them. theyre alright, nothing more for me I actually relate to this. Just like Obituary, I never really cared for Cannibal. It was sometime before I could even enjoy one of their records just like the aforementioned band. I do like those Barnes albums though so I went ahead and voted Tomb but again, still don't care. Just wanted to participate on a poll, really.
