Let me know what stick sizes and brands you are using. I am looking for something not too heavy, yet balanced (maybe a bit more to the tip), to get the most out of my blasts and play them with ease.

I use either the Vater Nightstick model due to the length or the Promark 747 model because of the smaller profile and durability. The Nightstick is almost like a fucking tree trunk it is so thick. I've also used Fatback 3A which is what Paul Bostaph uses. I can blast but not well so I don't know what is good for blasting, but probably one of the popular sticks for metal like a 5A

Vic Firth VFX5A Extreme 5A for me. Best sticks I've had so far. They're like regular 5As, but just a bit longer for more reach. I find this perfect for blasting also.

Been using Vic Firth 5A American Classic Hickory sticks for about 15 years constantly now and very satisfied with these.

I recently switched to Vic Firth 7AN, which is a slightly longer 7A with a nylon tip.
