Axis E Kits

I have Axis Longboards with E Kits on them and it seems like they are very hard to get adjusted just right. It's like if they're not double triggering then they are set so far back I have to stomp on my pedals for them to register. Is it just me? Could it be my module settings? Just wondering if anyone has any advice. Thanks!
