Esp LTD. M-1000FR Floyd Rose Alder Body Palisander Fretboard EMG81s in both positions Daddario EXL110-7 (minus the thinnest string) Tuned to B-Standard (BEADF#B) Ibanez RGIT20FE Ash Wing Body Ebony Fretboard Gibraltar II Bridge EMG81 Bridge, EMG60 Neck Daddario EXL145 with an NW60 string instead of the 54 Tuned to Drop B (BF#BEG#C#) Been using the ESP for my last two Albums. The sustain and general feel and sound of that guitar is just so damn thick. The Ibanez sound and feel is more "dry" in comparison. It sounds amazing when playing more techy stuff.

I am partial to Ibanez model guitars. I have a 4 string Ibanez bass that has a ridiculous tone.

They are overpricing the shit out of their Prestige models which are quality wise fairly equal to the 1000-series of ESP which is significantly cheaper. I'd love to try the Ibanez premium series though but the logo on the headstock has the ugliest ibanez logo on it and just makes them less appealing

theozzman How aree you able to play with such big toms, flattened like that!? See that's a challenge. If my kick drums weren't so big I could angle them more. I've started using sticks that are about 17 inches in length to compensate. I'm quicker on my other kits because I can put the toms flatter. I suppose I could raise the rack bar a bit more to give more of an angle. I'll see what I can do with that. Edit: My toms are also super deep which doesn't help either.

Makes playing on another kit even more comfortable. At least, for me that is how it works. I also own a kit with deep toms and a 22" bass drum. When I move to my smaller kit I am flying.
