Ecchymosis has more of a frantic sound and style to me while I feel Epicardiectomy is ''funny sounding'' slams with really tight drums.
I still gotta cop all them new records as soon as I get some dough.

That is gr8 b8 my m8 - unless you're serious.
In which case no, Ecchymosis sounds more like Orchidectomy with Asian BDM sensibilities.
Epicardiectomy is czech wigger slam - but the good kind of wigger slam that makes people go full caveman.

As far apart on the spectrum of slam/blast that two bands can be.

Both great bands. Epi has a drummer with no tom toms and he has a very melodic use of cymbals with a brutal tiny snare. Ecc sound like they hang out in cesspools. And they are very violent and brutal. Both bands have great hyperblasting snare beats.

I would have to say no. Epicardiectomy might be the epitome of "caveman-slam", whereas Ecchymosis is aiming towards a filthy brutal death approach with tons of groove. Their "slams" are notnstraigh forward and make me want to dance because of the groovy-ness.

Epicardiectomy is prob the most accessible band out of the two, still a fun band to listen to. but Ecchymosis is definitely the more filthier cousin that prob asks for a more seasoned bdm listener to enjoy.
